Hi Guys- I happen to suffer from an acute case of highlighter hoarding, so of course this palette had to be in my life. The Aurora Glow Kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills features 6 shades listed as “metallic powder highlighters for intense luminosity”. They’ve been been formulated to be mixable and buildable, adding a multi-dimensional glow to body and/or face. ABH’s brand products are all vegan and cruelty-free- the next weight of the Aurora Glow Kit is 4.2 grams with each pan containing .15 ounces each.

Shades are –
Eclipse: a soft cantaloupe orange with an intense pink overtone and fine champagne toned micro glitters
Luna: a cool silver grey with a pearly highlight and white shimmery micros
Spectra: a muted mauve purple with rich magenta highlight filled with hot pink micro glitters

Helia: a sage/tea green with a slightly yellower highlight and super fine pink micro shimmers.
Orion: Sky blue with an electric highlight and silvery microglitters
Lyra: a sandstone orange (darker than Eclipse) with a dusty pink undertoned highlight and honey gold glitters

All of these shades have enormous color payoff- upon first swatch, Spectra and Orion felt like they had a slightly drier consistency than the others, but once you broke through the initial surface, you can see that ABH did a great job of keeping these formulas alike- all have a rich, almost cream consistency. Even fall out patterns are similar with the exception of Luna and Eclipse- these 2 shades seem to drop just slightly more product than the rest.

My favorite performers in the bunch are Orion and Helia- they both have highlights that work great on my fair, cool toned skin and pair up well with the blush shades I prefer. Lyra is a great collarbone highlight and I like Luna best for the cupid’s bow. I was hesitant about the look of Spectra in the pan, but upon application, this shade comes off beautifully- a bright, shimmery pink with a slightly purple undertone.
