Hey there guys- I wanted to share a few things I recently acquired from the Anastasia Beverly Hills line…

anastasia-2

Brow Powder Duo in “Granite”, $23.00 and small #15 Angle Cut Brush, $17.00.– I love both the Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Brow Definer, so I thought I’d give the powder a try. The sharp cut of the bristles on the brush allows you to make lines the width of individual hairs and the consistency of the powder creates a more transparent, natural look than most pencil formulas.

Brush #23, $25.00– This brush is commonly paired with the Glow Kit and I thought it would come in handy for highlighters and blushes.

I love the super soft natural bristles, but unfortunately noticed a number of wild, loose hairs. The handle has a bit more thickness and weight to it than most, and I really like that.

Highlighting Duo Pencil in “Matte Camille and Sand Shimmer”, $23.00– This creamy, double ended chubby pencil for highlighting the waterline, corners of eyes and under the brows. The matte shade looks a little too bright and peachy for my skin tone, but the shimmer end has a more natural, cool finish that will blend nicely with my pinkish toned fair skin.

Brow Gel, $22.00 and Sharpener, $6.00– I became a big fan on this brow gel after using a sample I got last year from Ulta and I’m always on the market for a reliable pencil sharpener.

Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette, $42.00– I was originally struck by the unique quality of the jewel toned red shades in this palette, but since then I’ve fallen in love with the others as well, especially Golden Ochre, Burnt Orange and Raw Sienna. I found the formulas of Love Letter and Tempra to be very slightly too powdery, but the rest are amazing, creamy smooth with very little fallout.

Satin Finishes- Tempra & Venetian Red, Shimmer Finishes- Vermeer, Primavera and Antique Bronze Matte Finishes- Golden Ochre, Buon Fresco, Love letter, Cyprus Umber, Raw Sienna Burnt Orange, Red Ochre, Warm Taupe and Realgar.
