Hey guys!! Hope everyone is having a great week. I recently purchased this Morphe deluxe six piece contour brush set from Amazon.com for $23.55 U.S.
Ihave purchased quite a few inexpensive brush sets over the years- brushes by Real Techniques, Eco Tools, Shany, Coastal Scents, Sonia Kashuk, Crown, MSQ, BH and E.L.F.

I have been disappointed by quite a few of the cheaper brushes in my day, so I was a little hesitant to purchase these. Morphe has been talked about constantly lately and I’m pretty good at ignoring hype. I finally decided to get these because the price was awesome, the ratings were high, they were returnable and if I’m going to purchase brushes, face brushes are my fav to buy. πŸ™‚

The cut of the bristles on all 6 are very slightly uneven, but for the price, I didn’t expect these to be Hakuho-do perfect. I have also been pleasantly surprised with how little they shed. I have used all six more than once and have only experience super minimal shedding on one brush, the large round buffer.

For the price, I am impressed with these brushes. The soft synthetic bristles are dense, so they are great for blending- stiff enough to actually move product around but not so stiff that the bristles are removing makeup.

I don’t understand why the “mini” brushes have been grouped with the large face brushes, or why the set has been labeled “contour”- I use all 3 of the mini brushes as large eyeshadow brushes rather than face brushes. They are really quite good- I would rate these NOT QUITE as good as Real Techniques, but far superior to many low-end brands (BH, Coastal Scents, Shany andf E.L.F. especially)

This brush set is listed for $22.99 on the Morphe site, but you can check out where I purchased them from here
