Hey ya’ll! Hope everyone had a wonderful (delicious) Thanksgiving and a wonderful (long) weekend. I thought I would post about a little online Sephora shopping I did last week. I got this box of goodies on Saturday. Only one item was a replacement item I was running out of- the rest of them are totally new to me, just stuff I was interested in. I have a lot of products right now so I haven’t been doing much beauty shopping, but maintaining my VIB Rouge status through 2016 is important to me, so…ya know.
Givenchy The Essentials to Enhance Your Eyes: I only own 2 Givenchy products, and although I find the brand to be a bit overpriced, I do love their stuff. The 6 pan palette of jewel toned eye shadows is gorgeous…I find the packaging to be chintzy though. C’mon guys. It’s cardboard.
Set includes: Noir Couture Volume Mascara, magic Kohl liner, and Le Prisme Yeux Mono palette
L’Occitane Beauty From Provence: A 6 piece skin and body care set. I love this freaking company. I am obsessed with the lavender bubble bath and was formerly into the Almond scrub. The only item I’ve already tried from this group is the Amande Shower Oil.
The set includes: Immortelle Precious Cream, Shea Cleansing Oil, Almond Shower Oil, Almond Supple Skin Oil, Shea Butter Hand Cream and Cherry Blossom Hand Cream.
Cartier La Panthere Eau De Parfum Set: Yaaaassss, batch. Earlier this year, I ended up finishing off a few perfumes at the same time, so now I’m in the process of stocking up for 2016. This set is unbelievable. The price is steep but the quality is way, way, way up there. Just the feel of the bottle- the nozzle and the glass itself- really has that high quality heaviness to it. Very well made. The scent is incredible too, but more about that in my future review.
Set includes: Eau De Parfum Natural Spray, 1.8 oz and Perfumed Body Lotion, 3.3 oz.
Becca + Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in “Champagne Pop”: Believe it or not, this wasn’t a “YouTube made me buy it!” product. I’ve actually only watched Jaclyn Hill a few times, long before she ever partnered with Becca. The reviews for this were stellar and I was on the market for a highlighter in this shade so yeah. Looks very pretty. Def. reviewing this in the future.
Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder: Reviews for this seemed good also. I just recently finished up a Makeup Forever pressed powder, and I got this to replace it.
Surratt Prismatique Lips in “Elitiste” and Cultive”: Total impulse buy- just curious! The packaging is friggin fantastic- very sleek and modern and dark- reminds me of Hourglass or Illamasqua. “Cultive” is a pale green that shows up a frosty, pale pink and “Elitiste” is a salmon shade, leaning a bit towards a beige tone with a pretty silver shimmer in it. I like both of these. Looking forward to trying them out.
The Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Brush. I’ve been lusting after this for a while. Just wow. Haven’t used it yet but holy. crap. Feels nice.
Other products included:
Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion P.M. Night Serum
Pinch Provisions Miniemergency kit for her
Formula X Clix! Happy Hour Mini set
Fresh Sugar Lemon Soap
